It's incredible what our modern digital devices can do, the days of a phone simply being a phone are long gone and the phrase 'there's an app for that' has never been truer. But what about for parenting?

Steve Burns from Poole is a former UK Special Forces Soldier and Royal Marines Commando as well as a single father to his five-year-old son Hunter.

Inspired by his own experiences, he recently launched an app called 'World In Our Hands' or WIOH in an attempt to encourage families to spend more time together and help parents focus on their parenting.
