Voice search is changing how travel bookings are made
More people in developing countries use smartphones to book travel than consumers in richer nations.
A survey of 25 countries by Travelport also reveals more people are likely to be influenced by pictures of destinations they see on social media, when they book a holiday.
Travelport director Guy Snelgar tells the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Russell Padmore about the marked differences between consumers booking travel with a smartphone in developing economies like China, or Nigeria, compared to people in Europe or the United States.
