Lennie James reads his short story "That First Without Her Christmas Day"
The actor Lennie James - perhaps best known for his role in the hit series 'The Walking Dead' - has written a short story about the first Christmas he spent in care after the death of his mother when he was just ten and his brother twelve. "That First Without Her Christmas Day" is a meditation on what home can be - how it can be lost and found. He wrote it for a book called "Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ For Christmas", which has been produced for the homeless charity The Passage. Here he reads it in full for Radio 4's Today Programme.
