Reporterβs Notebook: Anthee Carassava
While Greece's migration crisis has faded somewhat since a March 2016 pact between the European Union and Turkey, a surge in recent months has created abysmal conditions on the island of Samos. The situation ameliorate the problem has led to the Greek authorities and the EU being accused of leaving thousands of migrants exposed to disease, cold weather and violence.
Greek journalist, Anthee Carassava has been to the island, and gives us her impressions in this week's Reporter's Notebook.
