Why do our bodies age?
Is there an upper limit to the average life span? Professor Kaare Christensen from Denmark’s Ageing Research Centre argues that over time, damage to the body’s cells, molecules and organs are causing the rapid onset of ageing. However, new developments in medicine and better awareness of how to keep our bodies in good working order, has been having a huge impact on life expectancy.
