This is a chance to hear the radio play in full, preceded by an interview about the story behind its creation. It's a two-hour special for Remembrance Sunday introduced by Emily Jeffery. Set against the backdrop of the Great War and its build-up, 'A Pilgrim's Song' is based on the story of the Reverend Percy Dearmer and his collaboration with the composer Dr Ralph Vaughan Williams as they work together on the English Hymnal. It is performed by members of the Space Arts Trust based at St John's Church in Broadbridge Heath, with music from Opus Anglicanum.
