Liam Moore: Leicester owner death was 'very tough to take'
Leicester born Liam Moore explains how Saturday's tragic news affected him.
Moore started his career with Leicester City, and knew Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha well, the late owner of the club who died in a helicopter crash on Saturday.
"It was very tough to take," Moore told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire's Ady Williams. "Not only [with regards to] the owner, who I knew personally, but the other four people involved.
"It was an absolute disaster, and it really rocked the city that I'm from and grew up in."
And speaking about his current club Reading, ahead of their match against Bristol City this weekend, he says there is still belief in the squad that they can turn their current poor form around.
"We absolutely believe, you have to believe, or you might as well not turn up for training.
"I'm not naive that it's just going to happen overnight, there needs to be steps in place, top to bottom, exactly what we're doing, and how we're going to do it, then execute the plan."
