UK tax incentives create movie magic
Paddington 2, Downton Abbey and the Crown are just some of the lavish film and TV productions made in Britain recently.
The overall industry, which includes animation and video games, is booming thanks to government support. New research by the British Film Institute found that an estimated $800,000 of tax incentives led to an extra $4bn in spending across the industry.
BFI chief executive Amanda Nevill explains how basic economics is helping to create more movie magic.
