Sir Walter's life draws to a grizzly close...

It's the final part of "Sir Walter Raleigh - a Devon Man" tonight at 7.15. The drama-documentary, written and narrated for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Devon by the actor John Nettles, traces Sir Walter's life from his birth in East Devon to his execution in London.
The stunning production stars John McAndrew as Sir Walter, Jane Wymark as Queen Elizabeth, Sylevester McCoy as King James, and is narrated by John himself.
It's a tale of greed, love, lust, piracy & torture - you'll be gripped from the start!
After 8pm MIchael talks to some of the musicians from Devon and Cornwall who recorded the period music used in the production at beautiful Torbryan church in Newton Abbot.
