Maidenhead United: Weight lifted after first league win
Maidenhead Assistant Sam Lock says the squad are delighted to get first league win.
After five games without victory, Maidenhead United picked up their first win of the National League season at home to Maidstone.
"We're delighted," Lock told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "We've been working our socks off on and off the pitch... to get a result.
"It couldn't have come in a better way to be honest."
And Lock was impressed with the resolve the side showed to get the win.
"It's been difficult for us, as it has been for the fans.
"We didn't give up... we kept pushing, and kept pushing, and mental toughness is there for everyone to see."
