Can scientists save one of the world's favourite bananas?

The Cavendish banana is the favourite variety for much of the world – it’s big and seedless and accounts for 47% of the global production market. But it’s under attack from a deadly fungus, which is spreading across the world. James Dale from Queensland University of Technology is using genetics to try and save it.
