Depsite being a former Royals captain, Bolton boss Phil Parkinson is hungry for victory.

His side travel to Berkshire to face Reading in the Championship having won one and drawn one match so far this season.

"Four points from six is a good return," Parkinson told 麻豆约拍 Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "Our aim now is too obviously build on it down at the Madejski Stadium.

"I've seen both games [that Reading have played this season]. The Derby game, I thought first half they were excellent, very unlucky to lose with the last kick of the game."

And Parkinson says he has fond memories of the club and enjoys visiting Berkshire as an opposing manager.

"I love coming back to Reading for many reasons.

"It's a very special place for me and all my family."
