Each parliamentarian in South Sudan has pocketed $40,000 in cash from the government. It says this is a loan to help the MPs buy cars at a time the country is still grappling with a civil war, which has killed thousands and wrecked South Sudan's economy. Presidential spokesperson, Ateny Wek Ateny, explains the government's decision.
