Royals striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is slowly adjusting back to life after his Russian adventure.

After playing for Iceland at the World Cup, Bodvarsson is looking to hit the ground running with Reading this season.

鈥淚t was crazy,鈥� Bodvarsson told 麻豆约拍 Radio Berkshire鈥檚 Tim Dellor. 鈥淵ou always know it鈥檚 big, but when you鈥檙e there you can see what all the fuss is about.

鈥淭he atmosphere was just ridiculous.鈥�

And Bodvarsson admits that he was aware how their performances had gripped the nation back home in Iceland.

鈥淵ou could feel that the country was so behind us.

鈥淚t鈥檚 just something that the country鈥檚 never experienced before.鈥�
