Has Nessie lost her appeal?
If you have any doubts that Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster exists, listen up. The agency in charge of Scotland’s scenic areas, Scottish Natural Heritage, says it continues to believe in her, and even has a plan as to how she’d be protected if found. The pledge comes as local monster enthusiasts have dismissed fears that Nessie’s popularity with tourists may be in decline because of a lack of sightings, as well as fresh competition from new visitor experiences, like the North Coast 500 Touring Route.
