The story of the accent marks on Mexico’s jerseys
Paulina Chavira is a New York Times en Español editor based in Mexico City. Before the World Cup this year, she saw the jerseys worn by the players on Mexico’s national football team and noticed that there was something wrong with them. So, she decided to speak up.
