Diabetic boxer granted licence to fight
A boxer from Rochdale has been granted a boxing licence after the sport's governing body overturned a rule, which stopped boxers with type 1 diabetes fighting professionally. 25-year-old Muhammed Ali was initially refused a license by the British Boxing Board of Control because they thought checking blood sugar levels during bouts would be too disruptive.
