Triple H: More athletes should consider WWE career
WWE is launching a new global project to try and attract the best athletes from traditional sports like football and rugby.
WWE Executive, Paul Levesque, better known by his ring name 'Triple H', has told Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 5 live he wants more elite athletes to consider a career in his sport.
But Triple H said a life in wrestling should not be taken lightly: “Don’t think ‘it’s entertainment, I can slack off and just go do that’. I don’t know an athlete who’s come in from any other sport who hasn’t had a three day try out who hasn’t said 'oh my god that might be the hardest thing I’ve ever done'.
"It’s very difficult. The physicality is real. What it takes to do it is real; the mental capacity to tell that story and work that crowd while you’re doing all that physical stuff is a challenge. If it’s something you’re interested in, make sure you’re serious. If you’re serious bring your 'A' game because the WWE is the best of the best.â€
