The US is to impose tariffs on steel and aluminium imports from the EU, Canada and Mexico. Jim Rollo is associate fellow for global economy and politics at Chatham House, and gives us his reaction. It was the tariffs and their consequences that dominated Wall Street, as we heard from Cary Leahey of Decision Economics in New York. Meanwhile, there have been big developments in two major eurozone economies. Spain's government seems to be disintegrating, just as Italy appears to have finally found a way to form a coalition cabinet. We have updates from Madrid and Rome.
