Chvrches singer Lauren Mayberry has spoken out on her online response to a negative review that the band received for their third album.

Speaking to 麻豆约拍 Radio 5 live鈥檚 Nihal Arthanayake, the singer and songwriter said the review by the critic was 鈥榗ondescending鈥� and belittled the band's 鈥榮ocial and political鈥� views. Chvrches band members Iain Cook and Martin Doherty added people had a 鈥榬ight to reply鈥� to 鈥榩ersonal鈥� criticism.
