The street artists battling βmansplainingβ
Cbloxx and Aylo make up the street art duo Nomad Clan, painting giant murals all over the world, including the UKβs tallest mural in Leeds.
But the pair, real names are Joy and Hayley, say they have had to deal with misogyny and βmansplainingβ from the public and other artists throughout their careers.
Joy, who paints under the name Cbloxx, said: βPeople get embarrassed because theyβll say βAh nice one that, looks great our lad.
βThen youβll turn round and they are like βoh, sorry!ββ
βWomen just want to be treated the same as guys and thatβs the be all and end all of it, in my opinion,β added Hayley, who paints under the alias Aylo.
