The story of Croatia's stork soul mates
There is a love story in Croatia, not between two people but between two storks, Klepetan and Malena. They live on the rooftop of Stjepan Vokić in eastern Croatia and have been together for 16 years. When Klepetan flies to Africa for the winter, Malena is unable to go with him because of an old injury. She is left distraught and it is Stjepan's job to cheer her up. Outlook's Marta Medvešek went to find out what exactly that involves.
