Full interview: β€˜Surviving Manchester attack made me realise life’s too short’

Jamie Cousins and his 10-year-old daughter Poppy were at the Manchester Arena on the night of last year’s attack.

They cleared the foyer seconds before the explosion, after leaving the gig during the final song.

In the weeks and months that followed, Jamie came to the realisation that β€˜life’s too short’, and quit the job he’d been doing for 16 years to take up his lifelong passion, acting.

He’s since landed a leading role in an independent feature film called β€˜Out Of Time’.

Jamie told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 live’s Tony Livesey the film β€œgave him something to focus on and gave him a distraction” following the events at the Arena.
