'Govt should be stronger on foreign threats'

The chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee has told The Westminster Hour that the Government should take stronger action against people threatening UK interests. Tom Tugendhat told Carolyn Quinn: "We're very keen that the Government should really take some rather more firm action on individuals who threaten the interests of the United Kingdom at home and abroad. Of course we're pointing to individuals not only who bring in corrupt money but those who enable them whether they be in agencies or organisations that assist foreign individuals spending that money or moving that money through our system."
