Male bulimia: 'I told myself, boys eat a lot'
Author Tom Pollock has told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 live that he didnβt realise he had bulimia because the image people have of someone with an eating disorder is a βteenage girlβ.
Tom, who writes about mental illness in his latest novel, said that when he was diagnosed with bulimia, age 24, his initial reaction was one of disbelief.
Tom said people should talk about it more: βTelling other people means they can helpβ.
