'My friends told me to stay in the closet'
48-year-old Andy Train came out as gay a day before his 33rd birthday. He was married to a woman for 4 years and says that at the time he felt that he was βthe only person in the worldβ who felt like he felt. He says his wife at the time was βvery distressedβ after he came out and that it was a βreally deep and difficult timeβ.
He says friends told him to stay in the closet but he says he βjust needed to find out who he wasβ. Andy says he changed dramatically after he realised he was gay. He lost weight, changed his hairstyle and has never drunk bitter since.
