'Believe it, dream it, make it happen'

The average age of Africa's 10 oldest leaders is more than 78... but the average African is under 20 years old.

There is a growing perception that Africa is a young continent with old leaders. But there are exceptions, such as Botswana's new Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Bogolo Joy Kenewendo. Now just 31, she has two degrees in economics and once worked for the government of Ghana. But she has a tough job ahead of her because Botswana has high youth unemployment, and diversifying the economy away from diamond production has yet to be achieved on any significant scale.

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Veronique Edwards sat down with her and asked about her plans.
