The man who examines fatbergs to find parasites and bacteria
Fatbergs - huge lumps of oil and grease mixed with sewage and rubbish - are causing blockages in our sewerage systems. The Channel 4 programme 'Fatberg Autopsy: Secrets of the Sewers' will be aired on Channel 4 giving us a chance to see just what's inside them. But it's not nice, to put it mildly.
Dr Justin Pachebat from the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences at Aberystwyth University was involved in looking for parasites and bacteria.
