'Immense' Farah will soon win big city marathon - Curbishley
Former athlete Allison Curbishley says it wont be long until we see Mo Farah win a big city marathon, after the Olympian finished third in the 2018 London Marathon.
Farah crossed the line in two hours, six minutes and 21 seconds to beat Steve Jones' 33-year-old British record.
Curbishley said: "We're used to seeing him smiling and dancing over the line but that has hurt him. He is spent!
"This man is immense. He's got the British record from the 1,500 metres all the way up on the track.
"It won't be long until we see him win a big city marathon because he will take so much confidence from that today."
The four-time Olympic champion was competing in his first 26.2-mile race since retiring from the track.
Eliud Kipchoge won the race for a third time, with Farah two minutes and four seconds behind the Kenyan.
