Tom Service reports the Akihabara district of Tokyo (famous for its electronics and anime/manga shops) and Kyoto, home to the original Nintendo Playing Card Company. Here he meets Yoko Shimomura and Manami Matsumae, two inspirational pioneers of game music in Japan.
