Caerlaverock Castle | Auld Places

A few miles off of Scotland's southwest coast, stands Caelaverock Castle - a medieval fortress built in the 13th century by Clan Maxwell. Well preserved and complete with moat and menchies, Andrew takes us through some cracking shots of one of Scotland's lesser known gems.

It's also (probably) the birthplace of the empty, which is pretty cool.
