Peter Stanford: Why do we find it difficult to talk about faith?
Peter Stanford discusses the issues people have when talking about their faith publicly with the Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad.
After 35 years as a journalist interviewing people about their faith, he’s publishing a collection of his best interviews such as with the Rev Richard Coles, Dermot O’Leary and Michael Gove in his book ‘What We Talk About When We Talk About Faith’.
Jason shares his experience of talking about his pilgrimage to Mecca and Kate talks about people always comparing her to the Vicar of Dibley. Peter tells them how Dermot O’Leary’s faith shapes his life, but why Michael Gove is wary of talking openly about his faith.
