Premier League-winning striker Chris Sutton says "various players at West Brom should have been sacked" following manager Alan Pardew being shown the door at The Hawthorns.

Pardew leaves Albion bottom of the league on a run of eight consecutive defeats, having won just one of his 18 league games in charge.

But Sutton believes "the actions of senior players in undermining the manager have been disgraceful".

"He's gone in there with a bunch of pirates and they've plotted to get him to walk the plank!" he added.
