Chris Patten on eight-year-old Jacob Rees-Mogg
Conservative Party heavyweights Chris Patten and Jacob Rees-Mogg have clashed over Brexit.
Speaking to Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics, the former Conservative Party chairman Lord Patten said Jacob Rees-Moggβs views when he was an βeccentricβ and βcharmingβ eight year-old are still the same as they are now that he is 48.
Jacob Rees-Mogg hit back by saying it is a βgreat sadnessβ that Lord Patten βdoesnβt want democracy in the United Kingdomβ.
