UK passport to be made in France after Brexit?
The boss of British company De la Rue, which produces the current UK passport says he is not happy with the government decision to award the contact for the replacement blue post-Brexit passports to a firm in France.
Martin Sutherland has described the decision as "disappointing and surprising" and plans to appeal against it.
He told Today that ministers are happy to talk about the blue passport as an "icon of British identity" but now this "icon" will be manufactured in France.
