The Royals boss feels his players have the desire, but need more quality to win games.

Reading have now won just one game in 17 in the Championship, and sit six points above the relegation zone.

"It's not about not showing desire," Stam told 麻豆约拍 Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "At times, as well, you need to show more quality.

"At times... you need to show more that you really want it."

And Stam admits that whilst he seems calm no matter what the result, he is less calm with his players.

"I'm, of course, not very calm.

"It's frustrating sometimes to see how we concede goals."
