Recycling the unrecyclable
Plastic has become the world's favourite packaging material - but it is polluting the world's oceans and waterways. Since it does not break down and disintegrate the way natural substances do, it accumulates, leading to vast plastic islands in rivers and seas, harming marine wildlife. So what can industries do to reduce plastic pollution? The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Vivienne Nunis found one pioneering piece of machinery that takes waste plastic and returns it to its original form: oil.
