Republic of Ireland and Burnley forward Jonathan Walters has described opening up about his motherβs death as βthe best thing Iβve ever doneβ.
In a follow-up interview to the sit down discussion he had with 5 liveβs Tony Livesey, Walters says βhe can now speak about it normallyβ and that heβs pleased with the massive response the original interview has had.
Waltersβ mother died when he was just 11-years-old, and he previously spoke about βnever grievingβ and having to βlock away his emotionsβ.
