Not every Afrobeats artist you may have heard of was actually born in Africa.

Ezi Emela is a British-born artist inspired by the music genre, and still embraces her British identity.

She describes her music sound as "afro indie" and talks us through the sub-genres of music which have originated from Afrobeats.
