Caller Tony has called for Arsene Wenger to resign as Arsenal manager after they slumped to a fourth successive defeat at the hands of Brighton on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking with Kelly Cates and Ian Wright on Â鶹ԼÅÄ 606 after the 2-1 defeat at the Amex, the Gunners fan said: ‘When a family has their first dog, you know when it’s getting old, your Labrador gets to about 15 - you still remember it in your youth and for all the things that it did.

'But then it gets to the point where its hearing has gone, bit like Wenger, it can’t see well, bit like Wenger, and then really when it starts doing poos on your kitchen floor you have to make a decision for when that dog’s had its time.

‘And I think Wenger is now looking a bit like your family pet. The board have got to make some really clear decisions in the next couple of weeks. I’d ask him to resign.’
