Former England wing Ugo Monye believes Scotland's Finn Russell is a 'maverick fly half'.

The Rugby Union Weekly presenter was speaking ahead of Scotland's Calcutta Cup match with England at Murrayfield.

Monye said: "This is a huge game for Finn Russell, maybe the biggest game in a Scotland shirt.

"I don't know what the forecast is at Murrayfield this weekend but he better pack Factor 50. He's going to be under incredible heat from the England back row, the backs.

"They're going to get stuck into him because they know he can be a flaky player at times."

Russell has started all of Scotland's games this Six Nations campaign and has been picked again to face England.
