Jaap Stam: β€œI didn’t speak” to Leeds United

The Royals boss Jaap Stam say he never spoke to Leeds about vacant manager position.

The Reading FC boss was heavily linked with both the post at Elland Road both last summer and earlier this week.

β€œI didn’t speak to them myself,” Stam told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire’s Jack Winstanley. β€œBut I knew they were interested.

β€œI didn’t speak to them, so I can’t say a lot about that.

β€œI still have a contract over here, so I can’t talk with anybody, I’m not allowed to.”
