Rowing: Gammond not enjoying the cold weather training
British Rowing athlete Fiona Gammond explains how tough the winter training can be at their Caversham training base.
As temperatures plummet to near freezing, Gammond is hoping for warmer weather soon.
βYesterday was pretty cold,β Gammond told ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshireβs Tim Dellor. βThe worst is when your hands, after a lap of the lake, they really get quite cold.
βThen suddenly they start getting really hot!β
But Gammond has one way of warming up after the cold morningβs training.

βI always eat up there, itβs amazing.β
