'Perverse' to impose checks on Irish border
Two Conservative ministers are at odds over how the Government should negotiate terms of the customs union after Brexit.
Leave campaigner Bernard Jenkin MP said he thinks it would be "perverse" to impose checks on the Irish border after Brexit. Kenneth Clarke says we should promptly sign up to an open border with regulatory convergence.
