SUNDAY 18th FEB
NGS gardens open today include Compton Ash, Doddington Place, Goodnestone Park Gardens, Mere House and Yew Tree Gardens are all showing their snowdrops.

The South East Orchid Society invites anyone who is interested to a lecture about Orchids and Conservation in Laos and South East Asia with Dino Zelenika.

Entry to the meeting is free for all SEOS members. Non-members who are interested in orchids are very welcome to attend the meeting and view the Table Show of members orchids on display, for a small charge of Β£3 per person / Β£5 per couple

MONDAY 19th FEBRUARY
Hadlow Gardeners Society meet at the Old School Hall at 8pm - Brian Gallop is the speaker

TUESDAY 20th FEB
Ashford Flower Club is holding its Annual General Meeting at Furley Hall, Maidstone Road, Ashford TN24 8TX. The meeting starts at 7.30pm, and will be followed by a short floral demonstration. Anyone interested in flower arranging and joining the Club is very welcome to attend, to find out further information about Club activities.

HERNE HORTICULTURAL & ROSE SOCIETY have a Flower Arranging Workshop
It's a chance to 'have a go' for all, (gentlemen as well as ladies.) Demonstrations by NFAS members and practical "hands on" workshops for everyone who will each take away their very own floral arrangement.
It's at HERNE INSTITUTE HALL CANTERBURY ROAD HERNE CT6 7SE DOORS OPEN 7pm FOR 7.30pm START MEMBERS FREE VISITORS Β£2 EACH Plant sales Raffle and Refreshments (including homemade cakes) at every meeting.

WEDSNESDAY 21st FEB
Faversham Horticultural Society meet at 7.30 at the Age UK Centre on Middle Row. Chris Stewart will be talking about The Flower Villages of the Alsace and Lorraine.

TYLER HILL GARDENING SOCIETY meet at Tyler Hill Memorial Hall at 7.30 - Alison Marsden gives a talk on More Impact For Less Effort

Minster and Monkton Horticultural Society meet in the Village Hall at Minster in Thanet. Russell Miles has a talk about "Seals" Starting at 7.30pm

THURSDAY 22nd FEB
The next meeting of the Ash Horticultural Society is at Ash Village Hall at 7.30 pm. Our speaker will be Dr Clive Nuttman with the topic "Madagascar, plants, animals, conservation. Visitors warmly welcomed.

SUNDAY 25th FEB
The Hardy Plant Society will host Chris Lane for their Sunday afternoon talk at 2.30 pm.
Chris will give us the benefit of his vast knowledge of Witch Hazels. He has worked in professional horticulture
all his life, as a nursery man and lecturer at Hadlow College.

Chris runs Witch Hazel Nursery near Sittingbourne and has three national collections of these striking plants.
He also grows wisteria, flowering cherries and much more.

Guests are welcome to attend at Β£5 and members Β£3.

Plant Display-Plant Sales- Seed Exchange- Raffle- Book Sale -Teas with home made cakes.

Directions: (CT4 5NP) Lower Hardres is three miles south of Canterbury on the B2068, Stone Street,
Canterbury to Hythe road. Turn off at The Granville pub and the Village Hall is 100 yards along on the left.
