Modernising Nigeria's transportation network
For economies to work well, goods and people need to get around. In Nigeria, old, colonial era railways battle to shift the enormous amount of freight efficiently. But, according to the country's minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi, there are big plans to modernise - at the heart of which is a $40bn (Β£28bn) expansion of the country's railway network.
