The mum and baby pole dancing class
A fitness class in north Manchester is teaching new mums how to pole dance and do aerial hoops - and their babies can come along too.
Class teacher, Maria, said: "I think this is a class for people who want to do a little bit more than just a bit of mum and baby yoga... This is the kind of thing that we’ve set up where you get strong, you get fit. Aerial hoop and pole dancing, they’re a really good workout."
The babies can sit and play on the floor whilst watching their mums. But should mums be doing pole in front of their young kids?
"If anyone had seen me do pole I think they’d probably realise it’s not sexy dancing. It’s fitness, it’s pole fitness... My child is watching me engage in fitness, engage in being self-confident, that’s not a bad thing," added new mum Rebecca.
