Maja's busy Polish life in Scotland

Maja explains how she manages school and other classes two languages

In this programme we meet Maja (above) who speaks both Polish and English. And we'll hear again from Glasgow girl Jyotpreet as she takes part in the annual Sikh procession, 'Nagar Kirtan’.

1. Maja doesn't just go to school, she takes classes in gymnastics and music, and she flips between Polish and English language throughout the week. She lets listen in to her life in two languages.

2. Every Spring, Sikhs all over the world take part in the β€˜Nagar Kirtan’ procession that celebrates the start of the Vaisakhi festival. Jyotpreet takes us along with her to the procession, which takes place through the streets of Glasgow.

3. Maja explains why Easter is an important event for Polish people, and we hear how Maja and her family prepare for it, and how they celebrate.
