Anne Hilde Neset and field recordist Jana Winderen head out into the forests of Oslo to see what lies beneath the snow
Broadcasting Late Junction from Oslo, Anne Hilde Neset is joined by local artist and expert field recordist Jana Winderen.
Together they headed out into the forest, which Jana describes as her studio, to see (and listen to) what lay beneath the snow. The recordings you hear at the end of this piece were gathered in just a few minutes by Jana. She used different types of microphones to record an icy brook, and then hibernating tadpoles under the snow.
