Mother's tribute to son killed in Syria
Angie Blannin pays tribute to her 'fearless' son Jac who was killed in Syria
The bodies of two British men killed in Syria - Jac Holmes and Ollie Hall - are being repatriated to the UK. They died fighting in the war against Islamic State. But they won't arrive in a British army plane or under any official guard of honour. They left the UK of their own accord and went to fight against IS as volunteers with the Kurdish armed group the YPG. They were both killed last year by explosive devices in Raqqa, the once de-facto capital of IS. Here Emma Vardy speaks to Jac's mum Angie Blannin about the son she lost.
